Friends

It must be said... we have the best friends that anyone could ask for! We have truly been blessed with amazing friends all across the country and even in other countries around the world. Since moving to California and far away from family we have made some incredible friendships ...friends who have become like family in pretty much every way. We have gone through job changes, pregnancies, births of babies, etc. with these friends and now we get to watch as our kids develop friendships with one another. Here are a few pictures of Luke with some of his buddies from the past few weeks.

We went 'trunk or treat'-ing with some friends in Beaumont on Halloween. A bunch of different vendors (shops, churches, etc.) set up their cars and handed out candy from their trunks. The kids had a great time walking from car to car getting their goodies, stoping only about every third car or so to eat one of their treats. :)

Luke with a few of his gal pals - Maddie, Aliyah, and Mackenzie
Luke and Mackenzie were boy/girl monsters or aliens for Halloween.
We didn't plan it but boy were they cute together!
Every week Luke goes to Jonas' house during the hours I work. He loves going to play with Jonas - we'll pull into the driveway and Luke will begin squealing with delight, saying "Jojos" (Jonas). This past week we were able to watch Jonas at our house for the day. It was SO fun to watch them interacting and playing with each other. They were hilarious together- most of the time. They had their moments of wanting whatever toy the other one was playing with and things of that sort, but overall, we all had a great time together!

Buddies were even dressed alike, not on purpose.
Painting with water on the back patio.

Painting with water on the kiddie table
Blowing bubbles...sort of.
And these are just a few of Luke's many, many little friends. But his best pals of all would have to be mom and dad! There's just no replacing that special friendship!

Mackenzie is so into Luke right now! I didn't realize it until today when I was looking at pictures on the computer. Every time she saw Luke in any picture, she pointed and shouted, Guke, Guke! So cute...I had never heard her say Luke before, and today she couldn't stop. :)
